Tonight, World Wrestling Entertainment is LIVE at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri for Friday Night Smackdown!
It’s the go-home show before tomorrow night’s huge Royal Rumble premium live event.
WWE has announced the following for tonight’s episode:
- – Seth “Freakin” Rollins comes to Smackdown to personally deliver a message to Roman Reigns 24 hours before their Universal Championship showdown at Royal Rumble
- – Sheamus and Ridge Holland battle Ricochet and Cesaro in a Day 1 Rematch
- – Big E and Kofi Kingston clash with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
- – Naomi finally goes one-on-one with Sonya Deville
Also tonight, the final push for Royal Rumble.
WWE Smackdown airs tonight LIVE on FOX at 7pm CT.
Stinger’s View: At this point, I would say WWE needs a big shake up coming out of WrestleMania and I hope Royal Rumble lays the groundwork for it. For weeks, we’ve seen RAW guys on Smackdown, and Smackdown guys on RAW, and frankly it’s time to end the brand split. At least as far as the championships are concerned. Here’s hoping for a good show.
