Stinger’s View:
If the card goes as advertised, this is a really strong lineup and one that has, for the most part, had a decent build. The road to WrestleMania begins tonight, and I think WWE is looking for a strong showing to start the year.
A few predictions: I think they pull the trigger on Liv Morgan becoming the RAW Women’s Champion.
Big E’s reign has been uneventful, and while that’s not his fault, I think they’ll start the new year off with crowning a new WWE Champion. I’m going to go with Kevin Owens, with Big E going back into chase mode.
I don’t see Reigns dropping the Universal Championship until WrestleMania, although he could easily decide to step away for a while again due to his compromised immune system. Right now, I think Roman stays around as champion thanks to help from Paul Heyman who was never actually “fired” by Roman in the first place.
