The Almighty Era has come to an end on Monday Night RAW.
The closing minutes of tonight’s RAW saw Big E cash in his Money in the Bank contract and defeat Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship in 1:15.
Lashley had just successfully retained the championship against Randy Orton in 13:45.
Afterwards, Big E celebrated with the WWE Championship and fellow New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Patriot’s Position: A much needed change for RAW, and a much deserved win for Big E. The decision to cut to commercial right before the cash in match began, with five minutes left in the show, was a pretty poor one. Still not the biggest fan of faces cashing in on injured heel champs who just retained their title, but it is what it is.
Will be interested in seeing the state of RAW following the draft which begins on October 1st and ends on October 4th.
