Brodie Lee (Luke Harper) Passes Away at 41

Some terribly sad news broke late Saturday night that AEW star Jon Huber, better known by his ring name Brodie Lee (Luke Harper in WWE), passed away at the young age of 41.

His passing was due to a non-Covid lung illness. He leaves behind a wife and two young children.

Huber began his career in 2003 and made a name for himself on the independent scene as Brodie Lee before joining WWE in early 2012 where he was given the name Luke Harper.

His stint in WWE lasted from 2012 until late 2019, most of which was spent as a member of the Wyatt Family and with Rowan as The Bludgeon Brothers . He held the Intercontinental Championship and the tag team championship on two occasions.

He was released from WWE a year ago, and in March of this year joined All Elite Wrestling where he once again used the name Brodie Lee and was revealed to be the leader of The Dark Order.

On behalf of everyone here at Vortainment, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jon Huber.

His passing was announced by his wife on her Instagram account:
