College football fans rejoice, Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2020 is now available on PS4 and Xbox One.
The Xbox One version released early and still does not have the day one update out, but Microsoft should be getting that out soon. In the meantime, if you get on Xbox One before the update is out, know that some of the issues like QB spinning have been fixed already.
If you’ve been aching to play some college football, pick this game up for only $29.99.
Of course if you want to play authentic NCAA football, you’re gonna have to spend some time in the games extensive customization modes to edit the teams in the game. That won’t really be too hard to do, and here’s a handy spreadsheet that will tell you which in game teams correspond to the real teams and conferences alone with their RGB color codes.
Smith’s Sentiment: Between this releasing today and SEC play kicking off tomorrow, I’m a pretty happy camper. I had requested a review code for this, but since there’s no telling when that could’ve arrived I just went ahead and bought the game. It’s $30 and developed by a small team that has poured a lot of passion and effort into it, and that’s definitely something I can support monetarily. Our review will be up at some point before next Friday, and I can’t yet give any impressions as it is downloading as I’m writing this.
