Final Fantasy XVI Announced For PS5

During the PS5 Showcase today, Square Enix officially announced Final Fantasy XVI.

The RPG is scheduled for a 2021 release and will be console exclusive to PS5 (it will also come to PC).

Smith’s Sentiment: That’s a pretty great trailer. This looks much more interesting to me than XV was, so I have high hopes. Being console exclusive to PS5 will surely rub some of the wrong way, but nonetheless it’s a pretty good get for Sony. I’d imagine though that it’s likely a timed console exclusive and not a permanent exclusive, but we’ll see.
