Guardians, this is your week to farm the Nightfall: The Ordeal for exotics and upgrade materials like Prisms and Ascendant Shards.
This week’s Nightfall: The Ordeal is The Lake of Shadows, one of the fastest strikes in the game and one of the easiest as well. If you can’t farm it efficiently on Grandmaster, just farm it on Master difficulty.
From now until reset next week, you’ll be getting Double Rewards from completing it. Make sure you kill all the Champions to get the platinum rating.
Get to farming and enjoy your double exotics and double materials.
If you’ve been wanting to stockpile Prisms or Ascendant Shards for Beyond Light, or have just been chasing a good stat roll on some exotic armor, this is the week you’ve been waiting for.
Modifiers:
- Nightfall: The Ordeal: Adept
- Epitaph: Taken combatants generate blight geysers when defeated.
- Nightfall: The Ordeal: Hero
- All previous modifiers
- Champions: Unstoppable: This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
- Champions: Overload: This mode contains Overload Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Overload mod.
- Champions: Taken: This mode contains both Overload and Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Overload or Stagger mod, respectively.
- Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields
- Grask’s Bile: Incoming environmental damage increased. Knockback damage and distance increased.
- Nightfall: The Ordeal: Legend
- All previous modifiers
- Equipment Locked: You will not be able to change your equipment after this activity starts.
- Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage.
- Legend Modifiers: Match Game & Extra Shields
- Nightfall: The Ordeal: Master
- All previous modifiers
- Attrition: Regeneration is greatly impaired. Defeating enemies may create wells of Light.
- Master Modifiers: Champions: Mob & Match Game & Extra Shields & No Saved Checkpoints
- Champions: Mob: This mode contains additional Champions.
