The Evacuation Quest is now live in Destiny 2, and completing this lengthy quest will award you with the Traveler’s Chosen exotic sidearm.
You may need to have completed the Exodus questline before doing the Evacuation quest.
To get get the Evacuation Quest, you’ll need to head to the Tower and speak with Zavala.
Evacuate Io
From there, you’re off to Io to tell Asher Mir that Zavala has ordered him to evacuate.
Asher will then task you to Collect a sample from Taken Phalanx Barrism in Lost Sector Sanctum of Bones located in the Rupture. Loot the chest in the Sanctum of Bones, and also collect Traces of Corruption by defeating Taken on Io.
Once you’ve completed the above, you’ll need to complete the Pyramidion strike and collect Scan Traces by defeating Vex anywhere on Io. You can just select Pyramidion from the map, you don’t need to find it in the strike playlist.
After that, you’ll need to complete a heroic version of the Unexpected Guests adventure. Once finished, go talk to Asher again and he’ll send you off to Titan.
Evacuate Titan
Go to Titan and talk with Sloane, and she’ll task you with defeating the Hive Knight Dek-Thra in Lost Sector Methane Flush in Siren’s Watch. Loot the chest in the lost sector.
Next you’ll need to open chests protected by Hive Ultras in the Solarium and Festering Halls to claim Golden Age tech.
After doing that, you’ll need to complete the Savathun’s Song strike and defeat Hive Ogres, Wizards, and Knights anywhere on Titan to collect Tech Fragments.
Go back to Sloane and she’ll send you back to the Tower to report to Zavala.
Zavala will next send you to Mercury.
Evacuate Mercury
On Mercury, run into the Lighthouse and tell Brother Vance to evacuate.
Vance will ask you to complete the A Garden World strike and defeat Hyrdas, Minotaurs, and Cyclopses on Mercury to collect Timeline Fractures.
Next, you’ll need to complete the strike Tree of Probabilities and defeat Cabal on Mercury to collect Traces of Osiris.
You’re not done with Mercury just yet, as you’ll next to compete a heroic version of the Bug in the System adventure.
Head back to Brother Vance and he’ll send you off to Mars.
Evacuate Mars
On Mars, go meet Ana Bray and she’s gonna task you with going through the Braytech Facility to find a signal from the Warmind Rasputin.
Next, you’ll need to defeat bosses in Escalation Protocol to collect pieces of Rasputin’s shattered frame.
After that, you’ll have to complete a heroic version of the Deathly Tremors adventure.
Return to Ana Bray and she’ll send you back to Zavala.
Traveler’s Chosen
Once back at Zavala, he’ll give you the Exotic sidearm, Traveler’s Chosen.
